About Us

The Prince George’s County Family Justice Center Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that shares in the mission of the PGCFJC to aid survivors in their journey towards hope and restoration and exists to support the vision of the PGCFJC by serving as its financial agent, advocating for its system of services, and providing additional opportunities for community involvement and engagement. The Foundation helps to support the PGCFJC by providing the resources needed to offer innovative services and programs to survivors, free of charge.

The People

Established in 2016, the Prince George’s County Family Justice Center (PGCFJC) and the foundation aids in the systematic response to those who have been impacted by domestic violence, sexual assault, human trafficking, and elder abuse. In so doing, we are creating public value by changing lives and restoring hope, making a positive impact on the lives of those we serve.

The Programs

The Foundation supports the Prince George’s County Family Justice Center and the Center’s mission of providing client-centered, survivor-driven services through a holistic approach. The Center’s programs focus on advocacy, case management, prevention/education, legal services, criminal justice services, social services, medical care, and continued support.

The Partnerships

With the support of on-site, community, and corporate partnerships, the Prince George’s County Family Justice Center and Foundation are able to change lives and restore hope to victims of interpersonal violence and their families. Partnerships serve as the foundation on which our operational model is built upon. Together, we are able to make a significant impact in our community and county.
